UFC Vegas 90 went down this past weekend (Sat. April 6, 2024) inside UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada, leaving several fighters feeling the post-fight blues. Among them was Christos Giagos, who was knocked out by Ignacio Bahamondes (see it again here).
And Alexander Hernandez, who suffered his second straight defeat after coming up short to Damon Jackson, losing a razor-thin split decision. But, which fighter is suffering from the worst post-fight hangover, now a few days removed from the show?
Chris Curtis.
Coming into his short-notice rematch against Brendan Allen, Curtis had no pressure on his shoulders whatsoever. After all, he took the fight on short notice after Marvin Vettori bowed out of the fight with a “freak accident.” Furthermore, “Action Man” had already defeated Allen three years ago (watch highlights), so he had the blueprint to victory in his possession.
But, after 25 minutes of back-and-forth action, Curtis came up short, dropping a split decision after a hard-fought battle. To make matters worse for “Action Man,” he wound up suffering a torn hamstring as the five-round fight concluded. After the bout, Curtis was quick to give Allen his props, but also took a shot at the judges for their scoring.
“Been a while guys — Thank you all for the love and support. Not the result I hoped for,” he wrote on X. “Thought we had it but that’s life. Brendan Allen it was an honor to scrap again, and the score stands at 1-1 bro. Rest up and enjoy your family man. As for me, back to the drawing board.
“Watched it back four times now,” he added. “This one is going to sting for awhile. Not mad at Brendan. He didn’t score the fight. But yeah… that was a huge opportunity. I made mistakes, but I thought I did enough. This one hurts.”
Mistakes indeed.
Nevertheless, despite coming up short, Curtis will not lose any steam because he put it all on the line and did UFC a solid by stepping up to fight despite being “unprepared and out of shape,” according to his teammate and former Middleweight champion, Sean Strickland.
As far as what could be next for Curtis, that is tough to predict because his immediate challenge will be to recover from his injury, which — depending on the severity — could sideline him for awhile. When he’s ready to return, he should still be ranked in the Top 15 (he currently sits at No. 14).
Future opponents are also tough to pinpoint because of the uncertainty of his injury, but I wouldn’t mind seeing a fight between he and Paul Craig — whose last loss also came to Allen — at some point in time.

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Lightweight veterans Bobby Green and Jim Miller this weekend (Sat., April 13, 2024) inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada for UFC 300.
There’s nothing I appreciate more than two long time veterans with just left in the tank. Green has been fighting consistently since 2008 and is 37 years old, yet that didn’t stop “King” from blitzing unbeaten up-and-comer Grant Dawson for a 33-second knockout win last year. He’s back in the rankings for the third time now despite no longer being at his peak — a clear display of talent and skill alike.
Miller, meanwhile, is defying all expectations. At 40 years of age, Miller has seemingly fully recovered from his longterm battle with Lyme disease — how is that even possible? — to win five of his last six fights, all via stoppage.
Let’s take a closer look at the betting odds and strategic keys for each athlete:

Green vs. Miller Betting Odds
Bobby Green victory: -195
Jim Miller victory: +145

How Green Wins
Bobby Green is a sharpshooter. Even late in his career, he’s still tremendously quick with great reaction time, two traits that are hugely beneficial in controlling distance and picking off his foes with sharp counters. In addition, Green’s always been an underrated wrestler, able to hold his own against everyone not-named Islam Makhachev.
Speed kills, and per usual, it’s Green’s great advantage and key to victory in this fight. Jim Miller is an aggressive Southpaw who likes to pressure and fire counters in combination. His stance will make Green’s jab a bit more difficult to land, but fortunately, Green can adjust by working his own right-handed jab more often.
It shouldn’t be hard to bait Miller forward — that’s his natural inclination. Green’s goal is to be first and third in combination, meaning he pokes Miller with a jab/quick cross, evades or blocks the return fire, then sticks Miller with two more punches before exiting safely. If Green is both initiating and finishing exchanges, he’s going to rack up a ton of points, and the speed differential only grows as the slower fight takes more and more shots.

How Miller Wins
Miller comes for blood. “A-10” found knockout power late in his career, which has served as the perfect compliment to his high-level jiu-jitsu. Despite his age, Miller looks as durable and well-conditioned as ever, able to push the pace and stay in the face of young, dangerous opposition.
Slowing Green down a bit is Miller’s key to victory. In recent years, Green’s famous durability has declined to more human levels, and Miller certainly hits hard enough to stun him. The problem will be finding his chin without getting touched up in the process.
Miller’s solution should be kicks and body work. Miller has a great left low kick, which he’ll fire to the inner thigh against Orthodox opponents and low calf against fellow Southpaws. Green switches stances, so Miller should hammer both targets, punctuating combinations (even if they miss) with that low left leg blast.
In addition, Green relies a lot of head movement. While he’s slipping and rolling, the torso remains a fairly static target. In the words of Ray Longo, Miller would be well-advised to “punch a hole in his f—king chest.”

Green vs. Miller Prediction
This is a great match up, and each man has a clear avenue to victory.
Though Green has suffered more losses than Miller in the last few years, he’s also been fighting a higher level of competition. Dating back to 2020, Green has only lost to ranked Lightweights, and he looked quite good in several of those fights, such as the back-and-forth brawl versus Rafael Fiziev.
Conversely, Miller has mostly been feasting on unranked opposition. I love watching Miller knock out Contender Series randoms as much as the next guy, but I cannot help but feel that Green’s recent record would be STELLAR if he were facing the same opponents as “A-10.”
Green has been fighting at a higher level for a while, and I think he demonstrates the difference at Miller’s expense.

WWE Universal Championship: Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes
World Heavyweight Championship: Seth Rollins (c) vs. Drew McIntyre
The walkouts for this match (which turned out to be the opener) are quite good – McIntyre came out to the Philadelphia Ulster Pipe Band playing their bagpipes while Rollins was joined by the Mummers – all 40-something of them parading around the ramp and ring. Props again to WWE for having some pomp and pageantry. It’s a show, might as well lean into it!
McIntyre with an immediate jumping kick to the face and a quick pin attempt. Rollins rolls out, McIntyre throws a huge belly-to-belly suplex, slams him into the ring steps and takes a selfie with a fan. Another BTB. Rollins responds with a pedigree, gets back into the ring and stomps on the back of McIntyre’s head. Can’t get the pin. They exchange blows, McIntyre wins that with a neckbreaker.

Rollins counters a big boot with a pedigree and stomp again. They both miss high flying moves. DDT for the Scotsman. McIntyre taunts CM Punk at ringside by going for his finishing move, but Rollins counters with an inside package. McIntyre kicks out and boots Rollins in the face. McIntyre clears out the announce table, Rollins counters a powerbomb attempt by elbowing the big man. Rollins with a stomp onto the table.
They roll back into the ring, McIntyre hits another flying kick, still no pin. McIntyre sets up for it again, Rollins yells at him to do it, gets obliged. This time, the 3-count.
Drew McIntyre defeats Seth Rollins.
McIntyre goes over to taunt Punk, who gets in a few licks, followed by a run-in by Damian Priest, who cashes in his long-held Money In The Bank shot on a wounded McIntyre. He hits a big slam and is the new champ.

WWE Women’s Championship: Iyo Sky (c) vs. Bayley
Slow start to this match. First big spot is Bayley hitting a neckbreaker through the ropes, followed by a plancha between the bottom and middle ropes. Bayley selling a hurt leg and Sky goes to work on it. Sky corkscrews both legs now. Double stomp as well. Bayley bails out of the ring.
Bayley recovers enough to toss Sky over the barricade, catches Sky on a jump attempt and slams her down onto the padded concrete outside. They get back in and Sky kicks out. Tilt-a-whirl sidewalk slam, and another kick out. Bayley gets caught in the top rope and is drop kicked to the outside. Sky adds in a moonsault.
Sunset flip into the turnbuckle by Bayley. Double German suplex by Sky. Sky goes for a moonsault, eats some knee. Bayley climbs up, misses an elbow drop into a crossface submission. Bayley kicks out, but Sky reapplies it after a few seconds of exchanges.

Sky with a backbreaker and a moonsault, can’t get the pin. Sky flips out of a Bayley finisher attempt. Bayley gets a suplex and a top rope elbow. She nails her finisher and gets the pin.

United States Championship Triple Threat: Logan Paul (c) vs. Randy Orton vs. Kevin Owens
Logan immediately ducks outside the ring and tells the other two men to have at it. They decide to go after Paul instead and take turns beating on the champ. Drops onto the announce table, the ringside Prime stand… they get him back into the ring and take turns stomping on his limbs. After getting a bunch of licks on Paul, Orton tries a sneak attack on Owens, which fails. They agree it’s just time to go after each other and it’s their turn to hit each other.
Paul flips over the ropes and hits a double clothesline. He beats on Owens for a bit. Owens hits a super kick, tries for a swanton, but Paul gets the knees up. Paul runs outside, hits a swanton on Owens and rolls into a frog splash on Orton, but can’t get the pin.
Double middle-rope DDT from Orton. Owens with a jawbreaker/senton combo onto Orton/Paul, respectively. Owens with a top-rope side slam onto Paul, followed up with a moonsault. Kickout. RKO by Orton. Paul slumps Orton with a brass-knuckle aided punch, but Orton kicks out. Paul hits Owens, too. RKO by Orton, but he’s still selling the punch. Orton gets up first, and grabs the knucks off Paul. He looks at them for a bit and hands them to the ref.
The Prime bottle mascot grabs Paul outside and is revealed to be another streamer, I Show Speed, I think they said his name is? Orton isn’t happy and RKO’s the Youtuber on the table. Eventually we go back into the ring, big powerbomb by Owens onto Paul and a Stunner onto Orton. RKO onto Owens, Paul throws Orton out of the ring and hits a high frog splash onto Owens and gets the 1-2-3.

Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano 2 is rumored for June at the Sphere, three months before Noche UFC in September.
Move over, Dana White. Jake Paul may beat you to be the first major sporting event to be held at the much-hyped Las Vegas Sphere.
The Sphere is a wild 20,000 seat venue equipped with a 16K resolution wraparound interior LED screen. It opened in September 2023 and has mainly been used thus far to host demo shows and concert residencies for bands like U2, Phish, and Grateful Dead carry-on Dead & Company.
UFC CEO Dana White has booked the Sphere for his second Mexican Independence Day show on September 14th, and it was expected that this would be the venue’s first major live sports event. But now Irish news outlet RTE reports that a women’s boxing rematch between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano may beat them to the punch with a June date. An official announcement is expected sometime over the next few days.
Taylor is promoted by Matchroom Boxing’s Eddie Hearn, while Serrano has teamed up with Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions. If this fight goes through, Paul will promote an event at the Sphere before the UFC, which we’re sure Dana White would love.
White was an outspoken critic of Jake Paul for years before realizing he was just giving the YouTuber-turned-boxer more attention every time he battled “The Problem Child” on social media. Not only is White not a fan of Paul, he also hates MVP co-founder Nakisa Bidarian. Bidarian was a former UFC CFO who struck out on his own after the Endeavor sale. White has since referred to his former senior executive as an “accountant,” “scumbag,” and “warlock.”
The first Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano fight in April 2022 can credibly be described as the biggest fight in women’s boxing history. It headlined a sold out Madison Square Garden and featured Taylor winning a thrilling come-from-behind decision victory over Serrano.
Since then Taylor has successfully defended her many titles three more times. Serrano has gone 4-0 in the same stretch, most recently having a homecoming fight in Puerto Rico canceled over a bad hair dye job.

We’ve already touched on the main event — the first match that The Rock will actively participate in since 2016 — but it’s also worth mentioning that there’s some other high-profile bouts taking place beneath the headliner. The co-main event features two of the most popular women in the business, World Championship belt holder Rhea Ripley vs. Becky Lynch. The Intercontinental Title and the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship straps are also up for grabs tonight.

Women’s World Championship: Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Becky Lynch
Exchange of slaps to start. Suplex into a bridge pinfall attempt early by Ripley. Inside cradle by Lynch countered into a vertical suplex and another pin attempt. Ripley up to the top rope, countered by an arm drag from up high. Lynch tornado DDT, two-count only.
Ripley hung across the ropes and Lynch leg drops her. Another one inside the ring and a nearfall. Ripley catches her midair, slams her down and knees her as she tries to stand. Lynch counters the finisher attempt and goes for an armbar to the “injured” arm of Ripley. Ripley counters with a trio of powerbombs and a pin attempt.
Ripley tries for a spear to the corner, but Lynch dodges and Ripley goes head/shoulder first into the ring post. Lynch with a leg drop off the top rope, gets countered with a leg lock submission hold. Lynch rolls out. Finishing “Manhandle” slam by Lynch, can’t get the pin. Now Ripley gets her “Riptide” finisher, but Lynch kicks out.
Lynch with a suplex off the top rope and flows through into an arm lock. Ripley powers out and gets out to the floor. Electric chair onto Lynch. Frog splash, but another kick out. Lynch on the apron, Ripley tries to suplex her back in, gets countered. Ripley counters back, hits her finisher slam onto the turnbuckle and another one mid-ring and gets the pin.

Intercontinental Championship: Gunther (c) vs. Sami Zayn
Zayn with a series of chops. For those unaware, Gunther is moderately famous for a stiff style including huge chops. Every match involving the big Austrian involves red chests, usually from all participants. Gunther hangs Zayn over the top rope and stands on the underside of his chin. Half-nelson suplex on Gunther and another.
Clothesline spins Zayn about 540 degrees, but he kicks out of the pin. Zayn blocks a piledriver, hits a tornado DDT, runs into a sleeper hold. Zayn gets lose, runs into a big dropkick and powerbomb. Gunther with a pin, but nope. They exchange slings into the ring ropes followed by boots to the head. Double powerbomb by Gunther, no 3-count.
Another powerbomb and a frog splash. Another splash. Zain hulks up and hits a brainbuster on the top rope. Two big kicks by Zain and there’s a cover – Zain gets the pin and finally ends Gunther’s nearly two-year reign as Intercontinental Champ.

Six-Pack ladder match for Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships: Judgment Day (Damian Priest/Finn Balor) vs. Awesome Truth (The Miz/R-Truth) vs. DIY (Johnny Gargano/Tommaso Ciampa) vs. New Day (Kofi Kingston/Xavier Woods) vs. New Catch Republic (Pete Dunne/Tyler Bate) vs. A-Town Down Under (Austin Theory/Grayson Waller)
12 men in the ring to start… and it quickly empties to the floor immediately. ATDU immediately gets ladders up and starts climbing, which puts a target on their back. A third ladder comes in from ND, and they push everyone on the other two ladders over. JD smashes everyone with the ladders.
Bate from NCR picks up Balor and the ladder he’s holding and airplanes spin him for a good 30 seconds. NCR double moonsaults off a ladder onto everyone else. Priest throws NCR into each other. AT comes in to combat JD. Truth does a comedy bit where he waits for the hot tag from Miz. Gets it, clears out JD with John Cena’s moves. Truth pins Balor, which doesn’t matter in a ladder match. They throw Priest around into a bunch of peoples’ finishers.
AT and DIY team up and each of them go to get a set of belts. Now ATDU clears house and gets the Smackdown belts. Waller gets thrown out of the ring onto a ladder. DIY takes out ATDU. Dudley Boys tribute as they yell, “GET THE TABLES!” ND comes into the ring and starts going to work on DIY. Woods goes up top and elbow drops Gargano while he’s lying on a ladder. Kingston clears house on everyone with a backwards trust fall. Austin Theory stops Woods and tries to climb. ATDU takes him out.
Springboard DDT by one half of ATDU, but a huge slam on the other half means everyone is down. In comes R Truth, and we expect comedy. He’s climbing, but outside interference by JD McDonough ends that. He helps Balor climb up, but gets caught by Woods. Kingston goes to town on them both with a chair. ND dumps McDonough out through tables outside.
Kingston climbs, Priest comes in and wipes out Woods with an RVD-style kick to the chair Woods is holding and a Racor’s Edge on Kingston onto the chair. Miz tries to stop Priest, no dice. Priest gets tossed out by Truth, who climbs up and snags the Raw belts.

Two minutes in. Mullins finally manages to drag her to the mat, looking for side control. Cornolle regains half guard. Mullins trying to get space to posture with two minutes to go.
Nice sweep by Cornolle to land on top, then look for the back as Mullins scrambles up. They separate. Solid right by Mullins sets up another clinch. Fighting for underhooks with a minute to go. Knees by Cornolle. Mulline keeps her against the fence until the bell. Knees by Cornolle, elbows from Mullins. 10-9 Mullins? Weird round to score.
Round 2: Mullins ties up early, gets reversed against the fence. She reverses in turn. One minute in. More grinding. Two minutes in. Cornolle lands some knees downstairs. Head kick on the exit. Mullins looks gassed. Jab exchange. As Mullins tries to tie up, Cornolle drills her with a knee to the body that just about folds Mullins in half. Mullins runs for her life until a pair of head kicks send her to the mat.
Final result: Cornolle to Mullins by TKO (knee and head kicks)

WrestleMania 40 weekend is upon us as the two-day extravaganza will invade Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pa., on Saturday (April 6, 2024) and Sunday (April 7, 2024). The pay-per-view (PPV) event will feature the highly-anticipated return of The Rock, who will team up with Roman Reigns to take on Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins in opening night’s main event. On night two, Reigns will defend the Universal Championship against Rhodes in a singles match.
What’s Hot:
Finally, The Rock has made his way back to WWE. For the time being, at least. Many were surprised when The Rock (a.k.a. Dwayne Johnson) decided to return to the WWE universe after enjoying a pretty successful run as a Hollywood box office star. Sure, he had some flops along the way, more noticeably Black Adam, which didn’t exactly sit well with major Hollywood execs, saying Johnson’s ego was to blame for the $ 400 million catastrophe. And since DCEU was trying to climb out of Marvel’s shadow at a time when Iron Man, Thor and Captain America were on hiatus — a perfect time to strike — the debacle was highlighted a bit more. Granted, The Rock still got his and was paid handsomely for his efforts — hopefully he didn’t take a front-end pay cut for potential back-end profits — but the flop pretty much ended any hopes of the character to resurface down the line. And when you couple Henry Cavill’s exit as Superman — who made a late cameo in Black Adam to tease and eventual showdown — the chances of seeing The Rock put on the black tights again for the DC Universe are pretty slim.
That brings us to present day. Is The Rock hurting for cash? No. Is he struggling to get movie roles? No. He is still a mega-star, flush with cash and is still getting roles and will continue to do so. That said, he is back to his old stomping grounds and will compete for the first time in eight years, last taking part in a match at WrestleMania 32. In January of this year, The Rock was appointed to the Board of Directors of TKO Group Holdings, which was the beginning of his comeback trail. Not being content with sitting at that table, he wanted to sit at the “head of the table.” Indeed, The Rock was out to silence “The Tribal Chief,” Roman Reigns (who is also his cousin) to prove who the real leader of “The Bloodline is. But, that matchup went to dust (more on that later) and the two forces will now team up to face Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins. In Night 2’s main event, Rhodes will attempt to get revenge on Reigns, who defeated him last year. After winning the Royal Rumble earlier this year, Rhodes earned the title fight, which is the reason many were not too thrilled to see The Rock try to squeeze his way into the mix.
Original Card Vs. Actual Card:
The original plan was to have The Rock face Reigns for the Universal Championship, but after fans lashed out at WWE because of matchmakers throwing Rhodes by the wayside, robbing him of a championship rematch that was rightfully his, Triple H and the rest of the top brass had to reverse course and switch up the entire event. That prompted The Rock to go full heel, slamming all of the “Cody Crybabies,” as well as “The American Nightmare” himself. That is how The Rock/Reigns vs. Rhodes/Rollins tag team match came to be. If The Rock and Reigns prove victorious, they will have the right in implement “Tribal Rules” for the following night’s championship fight between Reigns and Rhodes, which means anything will go. Still, the flip of the script allowed to The Rock to go back to his heel ways which, to be honest, has been entertaining to see.
How The ‘Prelims’ Look:
In Night 1’s co-main event, Rhea Ripley will put her women’s World Championship on the line against former champion, Becky Lynch. The two women have a bitter beef that has been going on for some time, almost coming to blows on a recent appearance on The MMA Hour.
Plus, Logan Paul returns to defend his United States title in a triple threat match against Randy Orton and Kevin Owens. And for those of you who haven’t been following along for Paul’s wrestling adventure, you would be surprised because the kid is a natural— just look at the picture! Also, there will be a massive six-team tag match between champions The Judgment Day vs. DIY vs. Awesome Truth vs. The New Day vs. New Catch Republic vs. Austin Theory and Grayson Waller. That promises to be wild!
Who Needs A Win Badly:
The longest-reigning intercontinental champion, Gunther, will look to extend his streak — which has been going strong since 2022 — when he puts his strap on the line against Sami Zayn, who at one time was an honorary Uso, hanging with Roman Reigns and The Bloodline. That brought him a ton of the spotlight, but as a solo artist, Zayn hasn’t been doing much. He needs this win … badly.
Interest Level: 8/10
WrestleMania is always a good time. Sure, it runs a bit long and the two nights can sometimes feel like overkill, but if you are a wrestling fanatic this is the weekend you have been waiting for all year. And when you add The Rock’s star power to the event, it only magnifies it. Many are waiting to see just how the whole dynamic with Reigns plays out, so don’t be too surprised to see someone get double-crossed. Furthermore, there are hopes that other former stars (like John Cena and Stone Cold Steve Austin) make surprise appearances, so that adds an entirely different level of intrigue to the event.
Will The Rock stick around and continue to make television appearances on the regular like he has the previous two months? That is highly doubtful because he still has some obligations in Hollywood to handle. That’s why there could be a potential amount of record-breaking viewers for this event, as it could very well be the last time The Rock competes (at least for a while). For now, wrestling fans will enjoy it while they can.

Jamahal Hill is just eight days away from the biggest fight of his professional career. The former champion is returning after nearly a year away due to a nasty Achilles tear against the current Light Heavyweight kingpin, Alex Pereira. The duo will meet in the main event of UFC 300, which is scheduled for next weekend (Sat. April 13, 2024) inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
It’s a significant challenge for Hill, but that hasn’t stopped Hill from looking to the future. In a recent interview with GiveMeSport, Hill eyed a Heavyweight move and particularly a match up against current interim kingpin Tom Aspinall. He doesn’t see size or power as an issue.
“I usually walk around maybe like 240 [pounds],” Hill said. “I’m 240 right now, bro. Bro, I’m trying to tell you, bro, I’m a big boy. I’m a big dog. It’s possible. It’s possible, bro.”
He continued “What the f—k is a power advantage? The game is, it doesn’t matter who is more powerful. What it comes down to is who’s going to hit who first, but we both got power. You can be a thousand times more powerful than me. I hit you first. What does that mean? That’s game.”
The latter part if particularly interesting given his upcoming match up against “Poatan.” Pereira is one of the most powerful hitters in the sport, but Hill doesn’t seem to think too much of that trait.
We’ll see if it comes into play next weekend.

Rafael dos Anjos is one of a kind.
I asked UFC for my next fight some guy my age, with about the same amount of fights I have. The response was “those guys are in different point of their career than you” It shows me I’m on the right path, taking good care of my body and ready to keep competing at highest level.

Midnight Music: Kurt Cobain passed 30 years ago today. One of the greats!
Sleep well Maniacs! More martial arts madness is always on the way.
While UFC CEO Dana White and UFC color commentator Joe Rogan are two of the most important people in mixed martial arts (MMA) history, they often get mistaken for one another from time to time. It may have something to do with White and Rogan both being completely bald and huge advocates for UFC, but casual fight fans sometimes have trouble telling them apart.
This happened last month when White sat down with former ESPN anchor, Sage Steele, as a guest on her podcast. Steele, who spoke about UFC multiple times when she was the co-host for ESPN’s SportsCenter, mistook White for Rogan more than once. White missed the first remark, but called Steele out the second time it happened. It was podcast cringe at its finest.
Check it out below:
Last question, what’s Joe Rogan’s dream?
Full podcast here:https://t.co/Hod9iRHq5X pic.twitter.com/D14jCsBGY5
Earlier this week, Rogan finally reacted to the podcast snafu and brushed it off like no big deal. The long-time UFC color commentator revealed that he gets mistaken for White all the time. He also felt like Steele handled the error in a professional manner and made it a humorous situation.
“People call me Dana – I’ve been called Dana before,” said Rogan during his most recent episode of “The JRE MMA Show” podcast. “People go, ‘Oh, it’s Dana!’ I go, ‘No, I’m the other dude.’ It happens all the time. I think she just made a mental flub. When you’re doing a podcast and you’re interviewing someone, especially if you haven’t done a lot of them and it’s a high-profile thing and you’re doing Dana White, you’re always thinking of what to say.
“Even the question is like, ‘What’s your dream?’ It’s not even it a crazy question. It’s like I don’t know what to ask you so I’m like, ‘What’s your dream?’ So she’s probably floundering there a little and doesn’t know what to say. It’s f—king weird having a conversation live with someone in real time.”
What do you think, fight fans? Was this a big deal or time to move on?
Brendan Allen and Chris Curtis came face-to-face at the conclusion of the UFC Vegas 90 weigh ins earlier today, just one day in front of their middleweight main event on ESPN+, scheduled for Sat., April 6, 2024 from inside the promotion’s APEX facility in Las Vegas.

Allen was originally scheduled to fight No. 5-ranked Marvin Vettori, who was replaced by Curtis after “The Italian Dream” went down with an undisclosed injury.
“If I beat Chris on Saturday, I’m still going to be No. 5 next week,” Allen told reporters at the UFC Vegas 90 media day (watch it here). “You shouldn’t be able to stay where you’re at after being out for so long and then pulling out of fights. Other than that, I don’t really care. I’m going to move up. I’m going to go up and it’s old news from there. You could have fought me last year. You could’ve fought me this weekend. So, kind of see you later, buddy.”
Curtis defeated Allen by technical knockout at UFC Vegas 44.
