UFC fighters couldn’t help but react to the unusual boxing match and subsequent controversial ending between Angela Carini and Imane Khelif.

There was much speculation whether Khelif should be allowed to compete in women’s boxing at the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics. The Algerian has been rejected entry into competition in the past due to their high testosterone readings, which renders competitors ineligible in combat sports.

Despite the plea from fans, Imane Khelif did compete at the Olympics and made their opponent quit in just 46 seconds. This caused uproar among the MMA world as fighters rushed to social media to voice their discontent.

The #9-ranked UFC light heavyweight Johnny Walker was furious with the Olympic Games’ decision to allow the fight to go ahead.

He shared his thoughts on X before deleting his post and later confirming he didn’t know enough about the situation to comment further.

Dillon Danis was upset with how events unfolded and insisted she was cheated out of a lifelong dream. Though, it wouldn’t be a Danis post without the BJJ phenom firing shots at someone he dislikes.

Colby Covington joined in. The former interim UFC welterweight champion ranted about keeping men far away from women’s sports.

Former UFC lightweight king Rafael Dos Anjos also spoke out against the fight. The Brazilian insisted that anybody that thinks allowing Imane Khelif to compete in women’s boxing is sick.

While the vast majority of internet users are angry with the Olympics, others were conflicted on the events.

Sodiq Yusuff and Chris Curtis didn’t fire shots at Khelif, but instead believe it’s a difficult situation to assess given the circumstances.

Derek Brunson and Kamaru Usman also sided with the African boxer. The UFC veterans stated that fans may have jumped the gun on their witch-hunt of Imane Khelif before knowing all the facts.

After upset at the Olympics, Jake Paul has presented a huge opportunity to Angela Carini.

Carini fought all her life to put her in a position to represent her country on the grandest stage. The boxer proudly carried her Italian heritage into the ring, but withdrew just 48 seconds into her fight against Imane Khelif. The European broke down in tears in the ring and later revealed that the power she felt from her opponent was unlike anything she’d ever felt before.

The Olympics has received a lot of backlash for sanctioning the bout between Carini and Khelif, with Jake Paul being the latest to speak out against them.

Jake took to social media to announce his displeasure at what he had just witnessed.

“This is sickening. This is a travesty,” Jake said. “Doesn’t matter what you believe. This is wrong and dangerous.”

Jake later offered Angela Carini a chance to fight on one of his cards — which would give her the chance to showcase herself on a respectable stage.

“To Angela Carini, although your dreams couldn’t come true today because of the crazy agendas that are at play in our world at the moment,” Jake said.

“I would love to offer you to fight on an MVP undercard, to show the world your talents on a fair platform and not against a man.”

After several setbacks, Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson has been confirmed for November 15. With three months until proceedings get underway, Carini may have the chance to compete on the undercard of one of the most talked about fights of the year.

There is a lot of confusion surrounding Imane Khelif and their biological gender.

Amidst the uproar, one thing remains true: Khelif did fail a gender test and was denied entry to compete in last year’s World Championships by the International Boxing Association.

Joe Rogan says the Olympics is a ‘giant scam’

by Site Admin ~ August 1st, 2024

The 2024 Olympics has been one big controversy, and Joe Rogan has had his say on the event.

Despite the buildup promising something special, the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games has been hit with a lot of backlash. From transgender boxers, to the desecration and utter disrespect showed to Christianity, the Olympics has produced many controversies.

One man who isn’t a fan of the Olympic Games is Joe Rogan. During a recent episode of his podcast, Rogan labeled the quadrennial event a scam.

“The Olympics is a giant scam,” Rogan claimed. “There’s two things going on simultaneously, OK.”

“You have the best athletes in the world participating in their disciplines, that’s happening. And then on top of that, you have enormous amounts of money being made, and none of it is going to the athletes. It is a giant scam.”

Rogan continued, revealing that the extraordinary competitors at the Olympic Games aren’t benefiting nearly enough for the amount they bring in.

“So, the kind of people that are putting together that ridiculous opening ceremony where you’ve got a bunch of drag Queens and the last supper and all that wild sh*t. Nobody understands it.”

“It’s not made by athletes, it’s not made by the Olympics. It’s made by the people that are in charge of putting the Olympics out.”

“So, they’re the ones that are reaping all the money and sucking all the cash out of these athletes… The money they make is astronomical. The Olympics makes billions and billions of money in television revenue and advertising revenue, and they don’t give any of it to the athletes.”

Joe Rogan didn’t let up, using his voice to support the athletes who make the Olympics what it is.

“The whole Olympics are insane. They’re robbing people, they’re robbing the athletes.”

“No one is tuning in, there’s not billions of people all over the world tuning in just to see a bunch of transsexuals pretend to be Jesus and the disciples. That’s not why they’re tuning in.”

“They’re tuning in to see who’s going to win the 100 metre dash. Who’s going to win this, who’s going to win that. Who’s going to win the sprints, who’s going to win whatever the f***ing event is, who’s going to win boxing. Thats why people are tuning in.”

“Those people that have dedicated their entire lives to wrestle in the Olympic Games, they’re not getting a f***ing scratch of that. It’s nuts.”

This weekend’s UFC event in Abu Dhabi is headlined by a bantamweight fight between second-ranked Cory Sandhagen and undefeated Umar Nurmagomedov.  The match is essentially a No. 1 contender bout with the winner likely earning a title shot.

Sandhagen (17-4) will enter the fight riding a three-fight winning streak.  Nurmagomedov (17-0) hasn’t tasted defeat and has finished three of his five UFC opponents.  Ranked 10th in the division, Nurmagomedov has the opportunity to pick up the biggest win of his career.

Former middleweight champion Michael Bisping expects the match to be a ‘tough fight’ and gave his prediction for the outcome on his YouTube channel.

“This is going to be a No. 1 contender matchup.  Whoever wins this fight between Cory and Umar, you gotta think they get the winner of Sean O’Malley versus Merab Dvalishvili for the bantamweight title,” Bisping said.  “Nurmagomedov, that’s right.  You know the name.  You know the style.  He comes from Dagestan, a tremendous wrestler but he’s got great kickboxing as well.  His kickboxing is phenomenal but I don’t think he’ll be using it against Cory Sandhagen.

“Cory is tall.  He’s long.  He’s quick.  He’s versatile.  He’s well-rounded.  He’s a student of the game,” Bisping continued.  “I believe this is going to be a really tough test for Umar Nurmagomedov.”

Bisping believes Nurmagomedov will use his wrestling against Sandhagen and a key to the fight will be whether “Young Eagle” can take “The Sandman” down.

“The big question with this fight is can Umar Nurmagomedov takedown Cory Sandhagen look for ground and pound, look for a submission, of course.  But the wrestling is going to be key to winning the fight,” Bisping said.  “Cory is the longer guy.  He is very versatile and he’s a devastating striker.”

“Cory Sandhagen is a real threat, but I believe Umar Nurmagomedov, even though this is a step up in competition, I’ve got Umar Nurmagomedov by decision,” continued Bisping.  “Although, I’m not overly confident on that pick.”

Conor McGregor has been suspended from driving for two years and managed to narrowly avoid a 5-month prison sentence for his actions behind the wheel.

When he’s not competing inside the cage, the Irishman is often finding some way to stay in the headlines. As reports surfaced this week, ‘The Notorious’ has captured the front pages once again — though not for positive reasons.

On Tuesday, Conor McGregor was summoned to the Blanchardstown District Court where he faced Judge David McHugh. McGregor was struck with a two-year driving ban, a €5,000 fine, and a suspended five-month jail sentence, under the condition he keeps the peace for his two-year non-driving spell.

In March of 2022, McGregor was detained following an incident that almost caused a crash on the Dublin streets. The UFC star sped through traffic and ran red lights, forcing police to set chase and hit speeds of 99/mph in order to catch him. It was later described as “appalling” behavior by Judge David McHugh.

As stated by news and media outlet the Irish Mirror, Judge McHugh spoke out against McGregor’s actions on the road.

“An appalling series of breaches of the road traffic rules,” Judge McHugh said. “And an appalling episode of dangerous driving.” [h/t Irish Mirror]

Each time Conor McGregor’s UFC return receives promising news, something seems to get in the way.

McGregor has left fans in limbo and has made the entire combat sports world unsure of if or when he will return to action again.

If the superstar does make the walk to the octagon in the future, it will likely be against former Bellator champion and UFC fan-favorite Michael Chandler.

The pair have been exchanging words back and forth for over a year. Both men have expressed their interest in rescheduling their bout some time soon — which was originally set to take place at UFC 303 last month.

Sean Strickland isn’t letting his hatred for the woke die down any time soon. The former UFC middleweight champion has shared a video on social media explaining why he can no longer associate himself with Harley Davidson.

The motorcycle company has long been in partnership with the UFC and is considered a product that essentially resonates with fight fans. Strickland was one of the many who supported the company, all the way up until they began promoting controversial musician Machine Gun Kelly.

Strickland went on a social media tirade, threatening to sell his bike and announcing his displeasure at Harley Davidson “going woke”. Now, he has doubled down on his threat in a video posted online.

“I love Harley, I’ve owned Harley’s for most of my life,” Strickland stated. “But, I will never own a Harley again.”

“If you love America, you won’t own a Harley. And let me explain to you guys why I’m so upset and why you should be upset.”

“The CEO of Harley is a woke zealot. This man wrote the book on wokeism. He wants to fundamentally change who you are, how you live, and how you think, and how you raise your family.”

Sean Strickland isn’t passionate about a lot of things, but one thing he will always side with is his country. The 33-year-old is a true American Patriot and isn’t a fan of the things he cherishes being “manipulated” by outside sources.

Strickland continued with his rant, pleading with Americans to boycott the company amid his beliefs about the Harley Davidson ownership.

“This German that they’ve put in this company is an industry plant by this corrupt, sick, leftist, oligarch. [All to] ruin, control, and manipulate Harley.”

“If you love America, you will not own a Harley. And I am getting rid of this Harley as soon as possible.”

Love him or hate him, Sean Strickland is anything but weak minded. Despite being viciously knocked out by Alex Pereira at UFC 276 two years ago, Strickland was still willing to exchange leather with the Brazilian during a recent sparring session.

‘Tarzan’ is likely within touching distance of a title shot at middleweight and has no concerns with sitting on the sidelines until he is granted one. He has won in four of his last five appearances inside the octagon, most recently beating Paulo Costa via split decision on June 1.

As he looks to improve his game ahead of a potential future title shot, Sean Strickland rocked up to Alex Pereira’s gym. The pair shared a joke or two before getting to work.

The former foes traded shots in a 6-minute sparring session, with clean strikes being landed on both sides.

Alongside their spar, they took turns working the punching bag.

It is common for Strickland to go out of his way to spar everyone, no matter if they’re at the pinnacle of combat sports or a measly social media influencer. This time, it was with one of the most dangerous knockout artists in the world — though thankfully, nobody was knocked out.

Sean Strickland lashes out at Harley Davidson

While it may be controversial at times, Sean Strickland is known to speak his mind.

He did just that after being alerted to Harley Davidson’s allegiance to popular musician Machine Gun Kelly.

Strickland is a big motorcycle enthusiast but now wants to sell his Harley Davidson bike after they promoted MGK on their social media earlier this week.

The UFC star ranted about his love for bikes but his disdain for the ‘woke’. This put him at a crossroads, not knowing whether to sell his motorcycle and be true to his own beliefs or not.

Interim UFC heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall continued to make his case for being the best heavyweight in the world this past Saturday by taking out Curtis Blaydes in 60 seconds in the UFC 304 co-main event.

The last time Aspinall legitimately tasted defeat was in 2015.  He lost to Blaydes in their meeting after suffering a knee injury 15 seconds into the first fight in July 2022.  He lost by disqualification in 2016 for illegal elbows but that rule was recently lifted.

Heavyweight titleholder Jon Jones is expected to face former two-time heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic later this year.  Jones last fought in March 2023.  He tore a pectoral muscle while training to defend the title against Miocic at UFC 295.  While Jones has been sidelined recovering from the injury, Aspinall has been finishing all of his opponents in the first round.  The Brit hasn’t seen the second round since February 2021.

Aspinall has been on a collision course with Jones.  A title unification bout between Aspinall and the winner of the upcoming Jones versus Miocic match seems inevitable.  UFC bantamweight champion Sean O’Malley believes a fight between Jones and Aspinall ‘has to happen.’

“Tom Aspinall versus Jon Jones, that’s a fight that needs to happen,” O’Malley said on his YouTube channel.  “Who would you rather see, Tom Aspinall versus Jon Jones, Alex Pereira versus Tom, Pereira versus Jon Jones?  Who would you guys rather see?”

According to O’Malley, a fight between Jones and Aspinall would be ‘interesting,’ but perhaps a match between light heavyweight titleholder Pereira and Jones would be a bigger fight.

“Jon Jones versus Tom Aspinall is f***ing interesting,” O’Malley said.  “I think as far as entertainment, fun aspect of it, the bigger fight would be Jon versus Alex Pereira.  I don’t know how close that would be.

“Alex can knock anyone out.  Jon could probably win that I’d guess.  Alex versus Tom?  Alex can knock anybody the f**k out, but I think Tom’s just too big.  Tom is 260,” O’Malley continued.

O’Malley headlines the UFC 306 “Noche” fight card at the Sphere in Las Vegas on Sept. 14 in celebration of Mexican Independence Day.  He’ll face top contender Merab Dvalishvili.

The welterweight title changed hands this past Saturday in the UFC 304 main event in Manchester, England.  Belal Muhammad captured the crown by defeating then-champion Leon Edwards via unanimous decision.

With a new champion in place, fourth-ranked Colby Covington seized the opportunity to go after Muhammad in an interview with Submission Radio.  Covington would ‘love’ to fight “Remember the Name.”

“You know, the guy’s a f**king p*ssy. The only time that Belal the racist juice monkey wanted to fight me was when I already had a title fight signed, sealed and delivered. That’s the only time he wanted to fight me. Otherwise, he’s never said my name because he knows he’s a little b*tch and he knows what I would do to him,” Covington said.  ““If I cross paths with him, he won’t be champion anymore. He won’t be a man anymore. I will take his man card and we know he’s still a virgin.“

Covington, a former interim welterweight titleholder, has fought for the undisputed title three times and lost in each one.  He’s coming off a loss to Edwards and hasn’t put together back-to-back wins since 2019.  He still plans to lobby the fight promotion for a match against Muhammad.

“I’d love to fight him. I hope that fight happens. I’ll do whatever it takes to get to that.  I’m going to talk to the UFC, see what I need to do to get to that fight. But, you know, I can tell you that he knows that I’m in his crosshairs now,” Covington said.  “He’s not going to take me down. He’s not going to be able to put a wrestling game plan on me. His striking sucks.”

““Honestly he’s got nothing for me. It’d be an easy fight,” Covington continued.  “And you know he’s going to look to duck and pick and choose all the easiest fights he can. But guess what? He’s not a star. He has no pull in the company, so he’s going to do what he’s told like a good little boy.”

Sean Strickland hasn’t let his love for motorcycles get in the way of his hatred for the woke culture.

While the UFC star has been caught doing and saying some incredibly controversial things, he remains true to his own beliefs. His brash approach to social media has often landed him in trouble, but that hasn’t altered the way he acts.

After claims of Harley Davidson ‘going woke’ surfaced, Sean Strickland hopped on social media, hoping to sell his bike and retract his affiliation with the motorcycle company.

“Well, Harley Davidson has gone woke,” Strickaknd said on X. “Anyone want a good deal on a lowride S 117?”

“Listen, man, I still go to Starbucks. It’s a dirty f***ing liberal company and I accepted that. Harley going woke is a betrayal to their customers. It’s different.”

Harley Davidson promoted popular musician Machine Gun Kelly and Strickland couldn’t remain silent.

“You promote MGK, the guy who dresses his boys like girls and does blood rituals. Time to sell that Harley stock while it’s up.”

“Harley, there is still time. I don’t want to sell my bike. Your CEO is a German climate activist who has created a woke agenda. Turn back, we will forgive you. Turn back.”

Harley Davidson has been a major partner of the UFC since 2007. The motorcycle company perfectly aligns with fight fans around the world, which helped it gain a proud, loyal following since their partnership began almost two decades ago.

Sean Strickland’s newfound love for riding motorcycles has taken a hit. The former UFC middleweight champion recently learned how to wheelie on his bike, which adds another thrillseeking activity to his ever-growing list.

Despite being able to find the balance point, Strickland managed to have an accident that cut and bruised him while joyriding earlier this month.
