Mike Perry became the latest former mixed marital artist to be beaten by Jake Paul inside the boxing ring on Saturday.  The two headlined the DAZN boxing event at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida.  Paul stopped Perry via TKO in the sixth round to improve his record to 10-1 with half of his wins being over former MMA fighters.

Perry pressed forward the entire fight but Paul’s speed and jab set up power shots.  Paul knocked Perry down in the first round, but Perry got up and continued to move forward.  Paul put Perry on the canvas again in the second frame.  The end came in the sixth round when Paul wobbled Perry and went in for the finish.  He unloaded a barrage of punches that sent Perry to the canvas a final time.  Perry rose to his feet but was in no condition to continue and the referee stopped the fight.

Following the loss to Paul, former two-division UFC champion and part owner of Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship Conor McGregor seemingly fired Perry from the organization.  Perry is undefeated in BKFC and holds the promotion’s ‘King of Violence’ title.

“Hey Mike you’re released and you can go and compete in your smelly dirty boxing championship thing, the smell of it, good luck. You’re fired,” McGregor wrote on social media.

During the Paul vs. Perry Post-Fight Press Conference, Perry reacted to McGregor’s comments.

“He doesn’t f***ing have a promotion.  Because me and him are both owners of BKFC, so he can’t fire me,” Perry said.  “We can fight in bare knuckle.  Look at me.  I lost to Jake Paul.  Why don’t you go fight Jake Paul and box him with the gloves on?  I think it would be worse than Conor McGregor vs. Mayweather.”

McGregor, with the UFC’s blessing, fought Floyd Mayweather Jr. in a boxing match in Aug. 2017.  Mayweather stopped McGregor via TKO in the 10th round.  It was Mayweather’s last sanctioned bout and his 50th career win.

Former two-division UFC champion and part owner of Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship Conor McGregor went off on social media on Saturday following Jake Paul’s TKO win over Mike Perry.

Paul stopped Perry in the sixth round of their DAZN boxing match at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida.  Perry, an undefeated BKFC fighter who holds the promotion’s ‘King of Violence’ title, was seemingly fired by McGregor after the loss.  McGregor also took aim at Paul, accusing “The Problem Child” of using performance enhancers and fighting smaller opponents.

Paul was McGregor’s first target.  “Jake Paul is the biggest pissbag I have ever seen in my life. 40 pound weight difference, juiced out of his head, and still shitting himself in there. Nakisa you should take him to Vegas oh that’s right you could never, the athletic commission testing, real testing, real fighting. B*tch asses. You could never,” McGregor wrote on social media.  “And then calling out 60year old Mike Tyson fresh off an in flight medical emergency? I swear to god, a fat can of b*tch piss. Most valuable pissbag.”

Paul was originally slated to face Tyson on Saturday at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas but a medical scare forced Tyson to push the bout back until Nov. 15.  In April, it was announced that McGregor and McGregor Sports & Entertainment had become part owners in BKFC.

After admonishing Paul, McGregor then turned his attention to Perry.  “Hey Mike youre released and you can go and compete in your smelly dirty boxing championship thing, the smell of it, good luck. You’re fired,” McGregor wrote.

McGregor has two fights left on his UFC contract and is expected to return to the octagon later this year. He was scheduled to face Michael Chandler at UFC 303 last month but was forced out of the fight due to a toe injury. McGregor has been out of action since breaking his leg in a trilogy bout against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July 2021.

Jake Paul and Mike Perry squared off on Saturday inside Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida in a boxing match that headlined the DAZN Pay-Per-View fight card.

Paul was coming off a first-round knockout win over Ryan Bourland in March. He’s 9-1 in his professional boxing career. Perry rejuvenated his career after leaving the UFC in 2021. He was signed by Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship and is undefeated in the fight promotion with wins over former UFC champions Eddie Alvarez, Anderson Silva, and Luke Rockhold. Perry last fought in April, stopping Thiago Alves in the first round.

Paul finished Perry in the sixth round after scoring multiple knockdowns throughout the fight.  With the win, he improved his record to 10-1.

Following his attack last week, Donald Trump is being branded a true American hero by many of his fellow countrymen. One man that joined in on the praise was one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time, Hulk Hogan.

‘Hulkamania’ is a two-time WWE Hall-of-Fame inductee for the incredible work he put in over the years. Though retired, the 70-year-old remains a global star, and he just used his electrifying stature to deliver a fiery speech for former President Trump.

Since getting shot and demanding Americans fight, Donald Trump has been the center of attention, and rightly so. As Trump battles to be reinstated into the White House, supporters are beginning to speak up and Hulk Hogan is just the latest.

“Well, let me tell you something, brother…” a fired up Hogan said during his speech for Trump. “At the end of the day, with our leader up there, my hero, that gladiator, we’re going to bring America back together. One real American at a time.”

“I’ve seen some great tag teams in my time. Hulk Hogan and ‘The Macho Man’ Randy Savage. But you know something, I see the greatest tag team of my life, standing upon us, getting ready to straighten this country out for all the real Americans.”

“You better get ready because when Donald J. Trump becomes the president of the United States, all the real Americans are going to be nicknamed ‘Trumpites’.”

“So, with the power of Donald J. Trump, and all the ‘Trumpites’ running wild, America is going to get back on track. And like Donald J. Trump said, America is going to be great again.”

Hogan then ramped up his speech, cutting a memorable promo and tearing his top apart, reminiscent of the old days.

“I think about how Donald Trump, his family was compromised. When I look out there and I see Donald Trump, I think about ow his business was compromised.”

“But what happened last week, when they took a shot at my hero, and they tried to kill the next president of the United States. Enough was enough and I said, let Trumpamania run wild, brother. Let Trumpamania rule again. Let Trumpamania make America great again.”

“As an entertainer, I tried to stay out of politics. But after everything that’s happened to our country over the past four years, and everything that happened last weekend, I can no longer stay silent.”

“I’m here tonight because I want the world to know that Donald Trump is a real American hero. And I’m proud to support my hero as the next president of this United States.”

Hogan continued, discussing the 2024 election and reminiscing on an old encounter with Trump.

“I’ve known Donald Trump for over 35 years…” Hogan said. “The last time I was up on stage, Donald Trump was sitting at ringside at the Trump Plaza. I was bleeding like a pig and I won the world title, right in front of Donald J. Trump.”

“And you know something, he’s going to win in November, and we’re all going to be champions again when he wins. And like I said, I’ve known that man for over 35 years and he’s always been the biggest Patriot, and he still is…”

“No matter the odds, he always finds a way to win. And when he’s back in our White House, America is going to start winning again.”

Hogan’s praise for Trump continued.

“I know tough guys, but let me tell you something, Donald Trump is the toughest of them all. They’ve thrown everything at Donald Trump. All the investigations, the impeachments, the court cases, and he’s still standing and kicking their birth.”

“You know, we’ve never had it better than the Trump years. Back then, we has a thriving economy, we had strong borders, we had safe streets, we had peace and respect around the world. But then we lost it all in the blink of an eye.”

“Crime is out of control, the border is out of control. Pricing of food and gas and housing is out of control, and the only person who can clean this up is Donald Trump…”

“So, all you criminals, all you low lives, all you scumbags, all you drug dealers, and all you crooked politicians need to answer one question, brother.”

“What you gonna do when Donald Trump and all the Trumpamaniacs run wild on you, brother?”

Despite giving up a sizeable age advantage, Mike Tyson is comfortable competing against a young, power-striker like Jake Paul.

While he is considered one of the greatest boxers to ever exist, Tyson is almost 60 years old and decades past his prime. This hasn’t stopped him from challenging himself against a much younger opponent, though the knockout artist doesn’t feel threatened.

During a recent interview, Mike Tyson revealed that he believes his potential future opponent doesn’t have the skills to hurt him in the ring.

“Can I be honest?” Tyson said when interviewed by Esquire. “I don’t think he can hurt me.”

“I’m a glory junkie. I love people thinking about me all day. I’d rather live a short life of glory than a long life of obscurity. It’s just who I am.”

“This is all I started fighting for; to get all this f***ing status. I’m going to be chasing it for the rest of my life, I know that. I’m never going to get what I want, because I’m one of those gluttons for pain. I can never get enough.”

What’s next for Mike Tyson?

After a health scare forced Mike Tyson to withdraw from his huge fight against Jake Paul, it’s unclear what could be next for the boxing icon.

While many are expecting Tyson and Jake to run it back, a huge hurdle stands in their way in the form of Mike Perry.

‘Platinum’ Perry signed on the dotted line to face ‘The Problem Child’. Should the BKFC standout win — which is a big possibility given his love for violence — then any future clash between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson could be in doubt.

Mike Perry vs. Jake Paul will unfold on Saturday as both men look to build on an impressive run of victories inside their respective sports.

Jake Paul has carved out a lucrative boxing career by mainly fighting retired UFC fighters.  Half of his career wins have been over retired mixed martial artists.

In his third professional boxing match, Paul knocked out Ben Askren in under two minutes.  He holds two wins over former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley including by knockout in their rematch.  He defeated former UFC middleweight kingpin Anderson Silva via unanimous decision and defeated The Ultimate Fighter 5 winner Nate Diaz in a one-sided fight.

On Saturday, Paul takes on former UFC fighter and current Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship standout Mike Perry.  During the event’s pre-fight press conference, Paul took aim at ‘all MMA fighters.’

“MMA fighters are all pu**ies,” Paul said. “Every single MMA fighter is a f***ing pu**y and they can’t box for s***.”  Former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping was ‘annoyed’ by Paul’s comments and has considered coming out of retirement to take on “The Problem Child.”

“Jesus Christ, you know what I mean, ‘All MMA fighters are pu**ies and we can’t box for s***’, I mean that’s really annoyed me,” Bisping responded on his YouTube channel.  “That almost makes me want to come out of retirement and smash this guy’s f***ing face in.”

After hearing Paul’s comments, Bisping went all in with his support for Mike Perry and hopes “Platinum” knocks the influencer-turned-boxer out at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida.

“I hope Mike Perry does it. There are so many great boxers from the world of Mixed Martial Arts that would whoop this guy’s ass,” Bisping said.  ““I’ve never wanted someone to win a fight as much in my life, for the love of God, Jake Paul, please, I hope you get knocked out on Saturday night.

“Mike Perry is the smaller guy, but he’s more ferocious, he’s more aggressive and he’s got a good chance of winning this… Jake Paul is fake, Jake Paul’s an imposter, Jake Paul is a pretty boy who wants to seem like a badass,” Bisping continued.
