Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz have been involved in arguably the greatest rivalry in UFC history, but that hasn’t stopped them from supporting one another when the opportunity arises.

McGregor and Diaz battled in two Hall-of-Fame-worthy affairs, leaving fans clamoring for eight years in the hope of a trilogy bout. While the third fight between the pair could still take place, ‘The Notorious’ is seemingly being held in limbo by the promotion, prompting the Stockton native to speak out in support of his old nemesis.

As news surfaced that the Irishman may have been forcefully sidelined by the UFC, Nate Diaz chimed in. The former lightweight title challenger insisted that he too has been in the frustrating situation that his counterpart finds himself in.

“This was me for years before Conor even got here,” Diaz said in support of McGregor. “They want you to die before you get out [of] these contracts.”

“It’s up to you to make something pop, no one [is] gonna help you but you. Free Conor, it’s at Patty’s day in this b*tch.”

Responding to the message during a recent appearance on The MMA Hour, Conor McGregor labeled both Nate and Nick Diaz ‘real fighting men’.

“Nate is great. When you share back-to-back knocks—we had real, real fights. That’s a real fighting man. The two brothers are real fighting men.”

“I always had the highest respect for the two lads, and f***, I was a fan of the lad. I was a fan of them, and I got to share the octagon with them. We had wars, we boxed each other around.”

“I appreciate it, appreciate [the support]. I wish him well, always… And what a monumental moment that will be, when we get that [trilogy fight] done. So, I’m excited for it.”

UFC Vegas 89 main event fighter Amanda Ribas was the first to step on the scales on Friday during the official weigh-in.  The eighth-ranked women’s flyweight takes on former two-time strawweight titleholder Rose Namajunas.  

Both women weighed the exact same, 125.5 pounds.  Ribas (13-4) is coming off a highlight-reel spinning wheel kick finish over Luana Pinheiro in her last fight. Namajunas (11-6) made her 125-pound debut in her last outing against Manon Fiorot and lost via unanimous decision. Ribas will be looking to secure the biggest win in her career while Namajunas seeks to pick up her first win in her new weight class.

Despite being one of the biggest stars in professional wrestling during her height in the sport, Ronda Rousey has publicly opened up on her estranged relationship with former WWE CEO Vince McMahon.

‘Rowdy’ is an uber-successful athlete who is an Olympian, a UFC champion, and a multiple-time WWE champion. Since leaving pro wrestling indefinitely late last year, Rousey hasn’t held back when talking about the business and continues to thrash Vince McMahon at any chance she gets.

Speaking in her recently released memoir ‘Our Fight’, Ronda Rousey didn’t hide her disgust toward McMahon. She began by discussing his idea to monopolize the sport by ‘absorbing’ the much smaller promotions.

“NXT was founded by and under the control of Triple H, real name Paul Levesque. In addition to being my in-ring WrestleMania nemesis, he is arguably one of the best professional wrestlers in history and one of the better people on the business side.”

“He is married to Stephanie McMahon, who is the daughter of WWE’s Emperor Palpatine, Vince McMahon. Vince took over the company from his father in the early 1980s and spent the better part of forty years playing a real-world pro-wrestling version of Monopoly, buying up and absorbing smaller promotions until he basically owned them all. While addressing the on-screen characters that wrestlers play, Rousey later fired shots at McMahon and the entire WWE Universe.

“It’s hard sometimes to know where the evil, unethical, slimeball character of Vince McMahon played out for the cameras ends and the actual questionably ethical, many times sued, and multiple times accused of sexual misconduct Vince McMahon begins.”

“That blurred line between character and reality is a recurring theme within the WWE Universe.”

Taking aim once again, Rousey likened the 78-year-old to the country of Saudi Arabia for their treatment of women.

“[Pay-per-views are] held in major cities like New York, Los Angeles, and Philadelphia, as well as now twice a year in Saudi Arabia, a nation that restricts the rights of women in a way that I’m certain Vince McMahon wishes he could.”

Ronda Rousey first rose to fame as an Olympic bronze medalist fighting in the UFC. She became one of the greatest female mixed martial artists ever before transitioning to professional wrestling under the guidance of Brian Kendrick.

Eighth-ranked women’s flyweight Amanda Ribas headlines this weekend’s UFC Vegas 89 fight card against former two-time strawweight titleholder Rose Namajunas.  

Heading into the biggest fight of her career, Ribas has prepared for best Namajunas possible.  

“I always put in my mind that I will face the best Rose Namajunas ever,” Ribas said during the UFC Vegas 89 Media Day.  “I’m trained for the best of her.”

Ribas (13-4) is coming off a stunning spinning wheel kick finish over Luana Pinheiro in her last fight but hasn’t put together back-to-back wins since 2020.  She plans to change that on Saturday.  Ribas hopes a win over Namajunas will garner her a Top 5 ranked opponent next.    

“I really enjoyed my last year that I did three fights, so this year I hope we can do three fights.  I like to be active inside the octagon.  I hope, if I win, God bless me with that, I can do Top 5 and maybe go to the belt,” she said.  

Ribas is prepared to go five rounds against Namajunas, but wants to finish the fight.  After all, you typically need a finish to get a bonus.  

“Before I am a UFC fighter, I am a UFC fan.  I like to watch fights that end with submission or a knockout, so in all my fights I try to do that because, for me the fan, it’s better to watch and for me as a fighter it’s better to get a bonus,” Ribas said.

No one is safe from Sean Strickland’s criticisms, not even UFC icons Jon Jones and Conor McGregor.  “Tarzan” took aim at the heavyweight champion and the former two-division UFC titleholder in an interview with The Schmo on Tuesday .

“At the end of the day, Jon Jones is a piece of sh*t,” Strickland said.  “I know that.  The whole world knows that.  We don’t need to reiterate his past.  He needs to sack up, fight Aspinall and f**king just get the sh*t done.”  

Jones is recovery from injuries suffered while training to face former two-time heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic at UFC 295 in November.  Tom Aspinall, of course, holds the interim heavyweight championship.  

McGregor hopes to return to the octagon this summer against Michael Chandler, but Strickland doesn’t care about McGregor returning.  

“Do we really care about Conor McGregor these days,” questioned Strickland.  “I’m mean, he’s a juiced out, roided out guy.  Do we really care about Conor McGregor?  Is he still a name in the UFC?  Dude, go retire on a yacht and be done with your sh*t.”

Strickland has been lobbying for a rematch with middleweight champion Dricus Du Plessis.  The two fought to a split decision at UFC 297 in January with Du Plessis getting the nod from the judges.  Strickland believes that he won the fight and wants the opportunity to win the belt back.  

“The UFC fans want it.  I want it.  To the death as always.  Make it happen,” Strickland said.

From his first moments in the spotlight until now, Tito Ortiz has remained a controversial figure who speaks his mind no matter the consequences.

His brash personality oftentimes got him into hot water during his heights in the UFC but that didn’t alter who Ortiz was in front of the camera. Now, years after his fighting career has ended, the 49-year-old continues to be his bold self and that was on full display when he made an appearance on Jesse Waters Primetime on FOX News.

While sitting down with Jesse Watters, Tito Ortiz gave his opinion on Joe Biden’s attempt to gain more support from the Hispanic citizens of the United States.

“Pandering at its worst. It’s pretty embarrassing what they’re trying to do,” Ortiz said. “I’ve watched this over the last three and a half years, and it’s just, how much more can our country take before people stand up?”

“All the Latino friends that I have, everyone that’s been waiting in line to get across the border. It’s no longer Mexicans that are trying to get across the border. It’s everybody from every other country.”

“I feel bad for our country right now. People need to stand up and make their votes be heard. If their votes aren’t going to be heard, I don’t know what’s going to happen next for our country.”

“And it’s really hard for me because being a blue-collared man with three boys and the future of them, I got to make sure that I stand up and let my voice be heard.”

Joe Biden has made a plea to Latino voters in hopes of gaining their support once again. The President attributes his success over Donald Trump back in 2020 to his Hispanic fanbase, as reported by MSN.

Despite Biden’s claims, reports suggest that just 36% of Hispanic adults approve of his performance in the White House. That number is  less than the 38% of U.S. adults who endorse his work, though that has decreased since Biden was elected.

Continuing in his conversation with Jesse Watters, Tito Ortiz sided with Donald Trump and detailed where his relationship with the former President originally began.

“When I lived in Huntington Beach, California, I had five businesses. You’ve got to understand, I’ve known Donald Trump since 2000.”

“I fought at his Casino at the Trump Taj Mahal, I worked on the Celebrity Apprentice with him. And to see what type of businessman he was, what type of father he was, what type of patriot he is for this country, for a billionaire to step up for this country, willing to risk everything to protect this country, my hat’s off to him. I will support him until he’s no longer around.”

“I think there’s a lot of Latinos that feel the same way because they come to this country to make sure we have our faith, we have our family, and we have our freedom.”

“These are the things that this country cannot lose. If we lose that, there’s no turning back and people need to understand that now, this is our time to take back America, because we cannot lose it.”

Ortiz then shared his dismay at the illegal immigrants who are being allowed to enter the country and break the law.

“For the future of our children, for all the futures of everybody [who] does want to come across the border legally. Because, once again, it’s not just Mexicans that are coming across the border, people need to understand that.”

“There’s children trafficking, there’s drugs that are coming across. All the cartels are doing the things that the American people don’t like.”

“You can see all across the border, in Texas, Arizona, California. It’s a shambles of what the border patrol can’t take care of and it’s because of the legislations and the policies that the Biden regime is doing right now.”

Tito Ortiz later opened up on how he has struggled following the COVID-19 pandemic.

“It’s sad for this country. I hope that people listen to me, as a blue-collared man [who] has to relocate here in Florida, open my own business—Tito’s Cantina Tequila Bar & Grille—here in Cape Coral, to redo the American Dream because I lost everything after 2020.”

“And it’s hard for me because I’m still trying to take care of my children as a blue-collared man…. But at the same time, people, we need to come together. We need to make sure that we make America great again because it’s very, very important.”

As the interview was coming to an end, Ortiz praised the state of Florida and shed some light on his feud with the state of California.

“There’s no woke agenda here in Florida. It’s wonderful, I love it. I’m thankful for the Politicians who have stepped up to protect this State and I wish other States would step up and do the same thing too.”

“Other sanctuary States, they need to understand. I see a lot of people who come down from up north. Down here in Florida to get away from that and they’re like, ‘Tito, we’re losing our cities, we’re losing our State.’ And I’m like, ‘You guys need to vote the right way instead of running away from it.'”

“I had to, I had no choice because, when I was on City Council, when I was Mayor of Pro Tem, they were destroying me. Once again, I’m a blue-collar guy, I’m not a billionaire… I can’t lose everything and they were trying to destroy my name when I was on City Council.”

“So, that’s why I walked away. That’s why I stepped away. I want to give the future of my children a great future, and that’s why I’m here in Florida doing this.”

The feud between former middleweight champion Sean Strickland and undefeated welterweight Ian Garry picked up steam on Wednesday.  

Garry’s wife, Layla Machado-Garry, posted a video earlier in the day addressing some of the allegations Strickland made against her and her husband back in December. 

In response, Strickland released a video of his own and accused Machado-Garry of tarnishing her husband’s name.   

“Alright succubus, I’ll give you what you want.  You talk about me, I’ll give what you want, attention. I don’t want to call you by your name because if we know anything about demons, the moment you start using their name it gives them power and that’s all you want right, power and attention. When you post a picture – This is why you talk about me – when you post a picture and you get those fake f**king plastic titties in that tiny little dress and you realize, I’m an old lady, nobody wants to see me half naked in a dress. You think to yourself, how can I get the attention that I want? How can I get what I want? You talk about me, you bring my f**king name up,” Strickland said in his video response.

“You’ve never done anything.  You’ve never accomplished anything. The only thing that you’ve done is to seduce famous men,” Strickland continued.  “Let me tell you why you are such a despicable person. Everybody is gone and went and forgot about this.  We’ve accepted you, as disgusting as that may seem, and you bring this back up and tarnish your husband’s name just because that little insecure, succubus demon inside you wants attention.  Whatever succubus cave you came from, just go back to it.”

It’s no secret that UFC bantamweight champion Sean O’Malley and Marlon “Chito” Vera do not like each other.  The two have fought twice but hasn’t settled their differences.  

In the first meeting, Vera handed O’Malley his first and only career loss at UFC 252 in August 2020.  In the rematch at UFC 299 on March 9, O’Malley dominated Vera on his way to a one-sided unanimous decision.    

Since the rematch, the two have gone back and forth on social media.  Vera accused O’Malley of ‘greasing’ and being ‘slippery’ in the fight.  On Monday, O’Malley went off when discussing Vera.  

“I don’t get it.  I don’t get the whole Chito thing.  Everyone seems to love this dude,” O’Malley said on his YouTube channel.  “I’m like, that motherf**ker is a fake-ass b*tch.  Chito sucks.  F**k him.”  

“I know sh*t that people don’t know that will change their minds on him but I’m not going to go out there and post it.  The DM sh*t was real,” O’Malley continued.  “I was in his f**king head.  I was his brain.  I was thinking for him… F**k that guy.  Then he comes out and says I’m greasing my hair.  Bro didn’t get close enough to even smell my hair.  What’s greasing my hair going to do?”

If the fight promotion ever decides to book a trilogy between O’Malley and Vera, it won’t be difficult to promote it.

Late last year, former middleweight champion Sean Strickland launched a public feud with undefeated welterweight Ian Machado Garry.  Much of Strickland’s attacks were aimed at Garry’s wife, Layla.  

On Monday, Layla responded to Strickland’s accusations via a social media video.  

“This tsunami of aggression towards the undefeated welterweight all exploded when former middleweight title holder and current multiple world bullshit title holder Sean Strickland read a clickbait headline but didn’t bother to fact check or read the whole article.  Unsurprising gullible behavior, but why would we expect anything else,” she said.

“So let’s begin with lie number one: Ian took his wife’s ex husband’s surname. I can’t believe anyone would accept this to be true but the MMA community picked it up and ran a full marathon with it. In fact, some people are still running with it now, gripping on with sweaty trembling fingers in order to justify blatant trolling.”

“It’s not true.  It never was true,” she proclaimed.  “Machado is my maiden name. We added our names together when we got married. It’s not that big a deal. Now that you know that it was a lie, you can kick yourself for believing it. Preferably in the face.”

“Lie number two: His wife’s ex lives with them. There’s a pattern here. A lot of the lies are about his wife. I’m so glad she’s finally clearing it up. No. No, he doesn’t. He never has. I find that a bit weird.”

“Lie number three: Ian is a cuck,” Machado-Garry continued. “Step back up, Sean Strickland, a man who’s unlikely to be okay with the Shakespearean English he unwittingly used when calling Ian a cuck. First penned in the story of Othello, the word cuckold refers to the fear of a man who’s been betrayed by his wife.”

“Sean Strickland has been talking an awful lot about Ian Gary’s wife.  I’ve been called a sexual predator, a pedophile, an abuser all by the man who alleges he suffered that exact abuse as a child growing up.”

Conor McGregor’s long-awaited octagon return could be just around the corner.  The former two-division UFC champion told ESPN on Tuesday that he’ll be fighting Michael Chandler this summer.  

“”We got confirmation a few days ago that it’s all systems go,” McGregor told ESPN. “‘The Mac,’ ‘The Notorious’ will be returning to the UFC Octagon this summer.”

McGregor did not say which summer fight card he’d be fight on, but did discuss his opponent.  Chandler has been waiting for the McGregor fight since they filmed The Ultimate Fighter 31 last summer.  He appeared on WWE’s “Monday Night Raw” last month calling out McGregor and saying the two have ‘unfinished business.’  

“Shut up, Michael, you f**king imbecile,” McGregor said.  “The man doesn’t shut up. I seen him on ‘Raw.’ I like Mike but I’m going to bust him up. I’m going to bust Mike up, yeah? If I say it, I do it. If I say it, it gets done. Put that on my stone.”

McGregor returning this summer was news to Chandler and has not been confirmed by the fight promotion.

McGregor has two fights remaining on his UFC contract.  He’d like to get both of them in this year.  After his summer return against Chandler, McGregor would like to fight on the UFC 306 event at the Sphere in September.
