Jake Paul v Mike Tyson - Open Workouts

Jake Paul and Mike Tyson are just days away from meeting in one of the most talked-about boxing events in recent history with the fight taking place at AT&T Stadium just outside Dallas.

The cavernous stadium, which usually serves as the home to the Dallas Cowboys, typically seats around 80,000 people but with additional seats on the field level, that number could balloon up to 100,000. For the upcoming card, Paul’s company Most Valuable Promotions decided to team up with ticket brokers at SeatGeek for sales rather than going through Ticketmaster.

A quick look at the map reveals that there are still plenty of tickets available to the event with seating anywhere from down on the floor close to the ring all the way up to the rafters in the nose bleeds.

The lowest priced regular seat is currently settling for $ 50 in section 408, which is the top level of AT&T Stadium. Most of the lower priced seats are actually in a few different sections on one half of the stadium. There is a single handicap seat available for $ 38, which is technically the lowest priced ticket available right now.

Now if you move down one section lower, tickets get a little pricier but still only around $ 90 each, depending on the row. The prices continue to vary as you get closer and closer to the ring.

As far as floor seats, there are still a smattering of tickets available but once again prices vary depending on location. The closet seat currently available that’s not a resale ticket sits in the fourth row — currently only one actually available — and that costs $ 7,500.

Scoot back four rows from almost the exact same vantage point and the price drops to $ 2,623 for the tickets currently available.

Based on the current map, there is actually one ringside seat available from Seatgeek as a special VIP package that costs a whopping $ 50,000. Another VIP package seated in the second row is going for $ 12,500 right now.

There are other VIP floor seats going for $ 20,000 for some tickets with others going as low as $ 3,500 if you’re willing to sit in the fifth row.

Now other resale sites like Ticketmaster and Stubhub could have different options available as far as ringside or floor seats.

It also must be noted that as the event draws closer and organizers look for a sold out crowd, ticket prices could potentially change, especially with resellers looking to dump those seats rather than eating the cost of the tickets that have already been purchased.

It’s unknown at this time if MVP plans to announce the full live gate for the show.

Nickal Pumps The Breaks On Chimaev Mega Fight

Pump the breaks.

Middleweight super prospect Bo Nickal will return to action at UFC 309 this weekend (Sat., Nov. 16, 2024) for his fourth Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) fight against his biggest opponent to date, Paul Craig, inside Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Every single time Nickal fights, Khamzat Chimaev is mentioned as a future opponent, and today (Wed., Nov. 13, 2024) at UFC 309 media day was no different.

“It’s definitely getting closer,” Nickal told reporters when asked if a fight with Chimaev is becoming a real possibility. “Khamzat’s last performance was really incredible; it was probably the best he’s had. Submitting a former champion is an incredible feat. He’s definitely right there for a title shot…I have a lot of catching up to do. I’m fighting unranked guys right now. So, those are the types of fights I want in the future, but the main focus is to improve, develop, and get better at fighting. We’ll make that fight happen in time.”

Two years ago, the three-time NCAA Division I national champion from Penn State said he was “ready to go with Chimaev,” so it’s very refreshing to hear a fighter with as much hype as Nickal give props to a potential future opponent while also realizing he has a lot of things to work on before said fight.

Even though he might get beat up by “Borz.”

Nevertheless, before Nickal fights Chimaev in the Las Vegas Raiders Allegiant Stadium in front of 100,000 people, he must get through “Bear Jew,” who believes it will be a “bad idea” if Nickal takes him down.

We will see in T-minus three days.

Jake Paul v Mike Tyson - Press Conference

Mike Tyson clearly wants to let his fists do the talking for him.

The former heavyweight champion came face-to-face with Jake Paul during their first fight week faceoff on Wednesday but Tyson was a man of few words during the question and answer period. The 58-year-old fighter had no interest in getting drawn into a war of words with Paul, who was sitting just a few feet away from him on stage.

“I’m just ready to fight,” Tyson said. “I’ve said everything I had to say. There’s nothing else to say. I’m just looking forward to fighting.”

The stoic Tyson stayed stone-faced as he stared down Paul, who returned the favor after offering his prediction that the fight wouldn’t make it to the final bell.

“Someone’s getting put to sleep,” Paul said. “It’s going to be a war. We’re both heavy hitters. It’s not going the full 16 minutes.”

While he didn’t get drawn into a fiery faceoff with Paul during the press conference, Tyson did offer one rebuke to a reporter who asked him what would he lose if he lost this fight on Friday.

In response, Tyson got a little more animated while offering up a promise that he wasn’t going to fall to Paul no matter what.

“I’m not going to lose,” Tyson said. “I am not going to lose. Did you hear what I said?”

Paul and Tyson will face off again on Thursday after the weigh-ins with the fight now just 48 hours away with the event airing live on Netflix from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Conor McGregor refuted any involvement in the sexual assault allegations during his courtroom testimony.

“The Notorious” is currently at the center of a serious sexual assault case, with accusations from Dublin-based hairdresser Nikita Hand, who has also implicated a person named James Lawrence in the ordeal.

As per a recent report by the Irish Mirror, McGregor testified at the High Court in Dublin on Wednesday, addressing a civil lawsuit in which he is accused by Hand of raping her in a penthouse suite at the Beacon Hotel in Sandyford, Dublin on Dec. 9, 2018.

For the first time during the ongoing trial, the former two-division UFC champion took the stand on Wednesday. He testified that his encounter with Hand was entirely consensual, following prior online conversations, and firmly denied ever coercing anyone into an act against their will.

“Your client is full of lies,” McGregor said to Hand’s lawyer. “Everything is a lie.”

McGregor also categorically rejected any claims of inflicting bruising on Hand. The UFC icon was accused of restraining her on the bed, with the alleged victim unable to fight back. However, the Irishman’s defense team has consistently argued that the accuser is attempting to exploit the situation and profit from a distorted version of events.

Hand has claimed that on the evening in dispute, she was with McGregor and that his behavior grew progressively aggressive after they went to the hotel room following a Christmas party. She stated that she and a woman named Danielle had consumed drugs and alcohol offered by the UFC fighter.

The allegations in question first emerged in December 2018, but no charges were brought against McGregor until January 2021, following a two-year investigation by Irish authorities. Despite the lengthy probe, McGregor was not prosecuted.

However, a personal injury lawsuit was filed in the same month, and in October 2023, a civil trial date was set, with Hand now seeking an undisclosed sum in damages.
