T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas hosts Thursday’s UFC 303 Pre-Fight Press Conference featuring all 10 main card fighters. The press conference is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT.
The event is headlined by a middleweight championship rematch between champion Alex Pereira and former titleholder Jiri Prochazka. The two first fought at UFC 295 last November with Pereira finishing Prochazka in the second round via technical knockout.
The event was expected to be headlined by Conor McGregor’s octagon return against Michael Chandler but McGregor was forced out due to a toe injury. Once McGregor fell out of the event, the fight card went through a major transformation.
On the fourth episode of UFC 303 Embedded, UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira touches down in Las Vegas with his family, Joe Pyfer almost misses his flight, Mayra Bueno Silva previews her pay-per-view fight against Macy Chiasson, Ian Machado Garry shows off his purple shorts, Jiri Prochazka talks shop with Daniel Cormier, and more.
“I don’t give a f*ck if they offer me a title shot — it’s me and you.”
Alex Pereira may want to check under his bed before going to sleep.
That’s because Jamahal Hill continues to stalk him after losing to “Poatan” in the UFC 300 pay-per-view (PPV) main event last April in Las Vegas. While there’s no denying “Sweet Dreams” was finished fair and square, the sequence was not “clean” enough to move on.
That’s why Hill, who once held gold at 205 pounds, is demanding a rematch.
“Alex has got his own task ahead of him,” Hill said on YouTube. “This weekend, he’s fighting Jiri Prochazka defending the title. Best of luck to you in your fight, in this rematch with Jiri, because if you lose? I don’t give a f*ck if they offer me a title shot — it’s me and you. You win? I’m going to go starch the next guy, and I’ll see you soon. You lose? I see you real soon.”
Pereira rematches Jiri Prochazka atop the UFC 303 fight card this weekend in “Sin City.”
Hill had an opportunity to close the distance with his own victory at UFC 303; however, “Sweet Dreams” was forced to withdraw from the June 29 fight card after suffering an untimely knee injury. A timeline for his Octagon return has yet to be determined.

Jamahal Hill’s priorities right now are recovering from the injury that kept him from fighting at UFC 303 and then doing everything possible to land a rematch against Alex Pereira.
Ahead of Saturday’s event, where Hill was originally scheduled to face Carlos Ulberg before a knee injury took him out, the former UFC light heavyweight champion posted a lengthy video responding to a breakdown from Demetrious Johnson regarding his loss to Pereira at UFC 300. Hill also offered his insights on several different angles from the fight to explain why he believes he was actually doing everything right up until Pereira blasted him with a punch that put him down and out just minutes into the bout.
Hill promised it’d be the final time he’ll address the fight.
“I’m literally only saying this to say what happened,” Hill said on his YouTube channel. “To point out from my point of view what happened and what it is. The fact of this, ‘Oh, he can’t accept the loss, he needs to cope’ — the hardest thing I ever had to eat in this game was whenever I lost my ‘0’ to Paul Craig. When I was sitting there and I was locked up in the submission and I could not use my arm, I’m like, ‘Oh shit, I’m about to lose.’ I literally remember that feeling. I remember it vividly, and that was a very, very hard thing for me. I went out and partied with this man that night. I enjoyed life after that with that individual.
“Me taking a loss is not a problem for me at all. I’m simply saying what happened.”
A big part of the breakdown centered around the final sequence. Hill threw a kick that clipped Pereira low, which caused referee Herb Dean to step forward to potentially pause the fight for a foul, but the Brazilian waved him off.
A moment later, Pereira connected with the punch that put Hill down for the final time.
“I’m not mad at him for being a gritty competitor,” Hill said of Pereira. “Granted, it sucks being on the shitty end of it, but he did what he had to do. He pushed his brand further. He kept the belt where it’s at and all those things. It’s kudos to him.”
As far as what comes next, Hill needs to get healthy again first and foremost, but he’s keeping a close eye on the UFC 303 main event when Pereira faces former champion Jiri Prochazka for the second time.
Pereira knocked out Prochazka in their first encounter back in 2023. Now Pereira seeks to make it two in a row after the 205-pounders stepped up on short notice to fill the main event void left by Conor McGregor’s withdrawal from his fight against Michael Chandler.
Hill doesn’t seem to care much about who wins or loses, and the same goes for the title, but he promises there’s some unfinished business that he has to handle with Pereira.
“Best of luck to you in your fight, in this rematch with Jiri,” Hill said addressing Pereira directly. “Because if you lose, I don’t give a f*ck if they offer me a title shot — it’s me and you. You win, I’m going to go starch the next guy and I’ll see you soon. You lose? I’ll see you real soon.”
There’s no word yet on how long Hill is expected to be sidelined with his injuries.
Issuing yet another warning to distinct enemy, Alex Pereira ahead of his UFC 303 return this weekend, former champion, Jamahal Hill claims if the Brazilian drops his title against Jiri Prochazka – he will await him in a rematch.
Hill, the current number three ranked light heavyweight contender, was slated to make his own return at UFC 303 this weekend, seeing a rescheduled bout with the surging, Carlos Ulberg fall to the wayside after he suffered another injury setback.
Snapping his sidelining through an achilles injury last summer with a headliner against the previously mentioned, Pereira at UFC 300 earlier this year, ex-champion, Hill dropped a stunning opening round knockout loss to the Sao Paulo finisher.
Jamahal Hill warns Alex Pereira of rematch in the future
And immediately staking his claim for a title fight rematch with former duel-weight champion, Pereira in the future off the back of his one-sided loss, Illinois native, Hill claimed once more ahead of UFC 303 – if the former slips up just once, he will force him to fight him again next.
“Alex (Pereira) has got his own task ahead of him,” Jamahal Hill said on his YouTube channel. “This weekend, he’s fighting JIir Prochazka defending the title. Best of luck to you in this rematch – because if you lose, I don’t give a f*ck if they [the UFC] offer me a title shot. It’s me and you [next].”
“You win, I’m going to go starch the next guy, and I’ll see you soon,” Jamahal Hill explained. “You lose, I see you real soon.”
Hitting out at Pereira’s now-viral celebration against him, Hill claimed he would remind the Brazilian fan-favorite what it feels like to wake up from a devastating knockout if he gets the chance to share the Octagon with him again.
Do you think Jamahal Hill can make his way back to a fight with Alex Pereira again?
