Jake Paul and Mike Perry will appear at the Paul vs. Perry Pre-Fight Press Conference in Tampa, Florida on Thursday at 2 p.m. ET.
Paul is coming off a first-round knockout win over Ryan Bourland in March. He’s 9-1 in his professional boxing career. Perry rejuvenated his career after leaving the UFC in 2021. He was signed by Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship and is undefeated in the fight promotion with wins over former UFC champions Eddie Alvarez and Luke Rockhold. Perry last fought in April, stopping Thiago Alves in the first round.
Paul was scheduled to faced Mike Tyson on July 20 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas but a medical issued forced Tyson to push the bout back until Nov. 15.
The Jake Paul vs. Mike Perry press conference video will feature the main card competitors who are set to battle it out on Saturday night.
Jake Paul, Mike Perry, Amanda Serrano, Stevie Morgan, H2O Sylve, Uriah Hall, Julio Caesar Chavez Jr., and others are expected to attend the press conference Thursday afternoon at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Fla., the site of this weekend’s boxing event.
The Jake Paul vs. Mike Perry press conference is expected to begin at 2 p.m. ET.
Paul and Perry will headline Saturday’s event in an eight-round cruiserweight bout, while Serrano and Morgan will meet in the co-main event.
Mike Perry finally gets his chance to face Jake Paul in the #boxing ring this Saturday in Tampa. While it seems as if the BKFC star is in a great situation, what happens if he beats Paul — and how bad would it be for the YouTube star if he loses?
On an all-new edition of Between the Links, the panel answers your questions about the Paul vs. Perry matchup, the stakes involved, and if Paul is putting the Mike Tyson fight in jeopardy. Additionally, topics include Nate Diaz filing a lawsuit against Fanmio stemming from his boxing win over Jorge Masvidal, Rose Namajunas’ victory against Tracy Cortez at UFC Denver, Dana White providing an update on UFC 306 and Conor McGregor vs. Michael Chandler, this weekend’s UFC event at the APEX, and more.
MMA Fighting’s Mike Heck and Jed Meshew discuss those topics and more on a special Q&A edition of the program.

Conor McGregor is part owner of Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC).
But the former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) two-division titleholder could soon be a player, as well, if he manages to complete the final two fights on his current contract. The first step in that process is healing the broken pinky toe that sabotaged his UFC 303 comeback against Michael Chandler.
“This is a sport on the rise,” McGregor said. “With my backing, I’m confident I can strap it to a rocket ship and send it right to the moon. Come and try your trade here at Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship. Make a new name for yourself. Look at what has happened to Michael Perry, one of our big stars here. The ‘King of Violence’ he titles himself. He’s had such a rise in the sport now he’s up against a little dweeb this weekend, we’re all rooting for him.”
Perry, 32, was released from UFC after losing four of five but has since racked up five straight wins for BKFC with three knockouts. “Platinum” will return to the “sweet science” to battle celebrity pugilist Jake Paul this weekend in Tampa (stream it here).
“This is the real deal,” McGregor continued. “No one in combat sports can speak one bad [word] about a bareknuckle fighting champion and that for me is money in the bank. For me, I have a bit business left with Ultimate Fighting Championship, two fights left on my contract, but for sure we got three lightweights up here on the dais and you know, I have my eye on all of [them]. I’m not up here just as an owner. Player-manager I’ll title myself on this one.”
McGregor is expected to make his Octagon return by the end of the year.
